Fountain Valley, CA – January 2011: Radflo Suspension Technology has announced
it will return to King of the Hammers for 2011 with a new racer support program
and some very compelling reasons for drivers to race on Radflo shocks. Recognized
by off-road enthusiasts as the most difficult one-day race on the planet, KOH attracts
drivers from around the world to Johnson Valley OHV area in Southern California
where they will compete in the most punishing terrain imaginable.
Last year, the suspension damping specialists at Radflo attended KOH for the first time and their success was nothing less than remarkable. At the end of the 135-mile test of endurance, vehicles outfitted exclusively with Radflo shocks crossed the finish line in first, third and fifth place. Emphasizing the effectiveness of Radflo dampers in this unforgiving terrain, the Radflo equipped vehicles continued their streak of domination throughout the Ultra4 season and ultimately earned the 2010 series championship. For the 2011 event, Radflo has expanded its racer support program to ensure their customers are prepared to defend the crown. A team of four Radflo technicians will be available for the entire week to provide free shock tuning services to Radflo-equipped vehicles. Additionally, Radflo is offering its customers some valuable incentives for leading the pack across the finish line. The second through tenth place finishers will receive a voucher worth $500 of Radflo products or services. And the driver who takes the checkered flag will be awarded a complete Radflo shock package, consisting of coil-overs, bypass shocks and bump stops at a combined value of $5,360 USD.
